How to make an Origami Paperclip

Origami Paperclip Tutorial

Learn how to make an origami paperclip. These actually work so you can use these little paper clips or use them as bookmarks too.

You can adjust the tightness of the loops at the ends and that way you can change the resistance of the ‘clip’.

Ok so obviously these origami paperclips aren’t going to be as secure as real metal ones! But they are a neat way to keep papers together, or as bookmarks.

I guess these would be good for kids.. or parents who are nervous about having sharp pointy wire paperclips…

If you used foil paper or thicker paper, these would be more sturdy. I’m pretty sure this method of twisting the paper has a name, but I don’t know what it is. You can see how you might go about making origami music notes with this method.
