This origami peace dove is fun and easy to make. Use this origami dove to decorate greetings cards or hang them up as pretty decorations.
Photo Tutorial:
1. Start by folding the paper diagonally in half and then in half again until you have the paper looking like the first image on the left.
2. With the paper positioned as shown, fold the bottom left point diagonally up to the top right point.
3. Repeat on the back flap.
4. This is what you should have.
5. Rotate the paper so that it is as shown
6. Fold the front bottom point up to center of the top edge.
7. Open the front flap so you can see underneath.
8. Reverse fold the crease you made in step 6 inside.
9. Repeat on the other side.
10. Fold the left point down to form the dove’s head.
11. Reverse fold the head.
12. You can adjust the head by re-possitioning it at this time.
13. This is roughly what you should have.
14. Fold a wing upwards. Repeat on the back.
15. Fold the bottom right point to the left, forming the dove’s tail.
16. Open the bottom section and squash fold the tail.
17. Finally, wrap the tail around to the left.
18. The origami peace dove is complete!
