All Traditional Origami Tutorials
Traditional Origami – origami models that have no known creator. Most of these models have been designed at a time when designers believed they had no “ownership” of the design.
Traditional origami can also be models that are so simple that many designers created them at various times, so they became known as Traditional.
All traditional models are in the public domain which means that no one owns them or their instructions. Which is why you so frequently see traditional origami models as logos, t-shirt designs or in origami books.
Any modifications of traditional models need to be clearly defined as such. Many origami designers start off with a traditional model for their own creations. It’s only once the design no longer resembles the original that it should be claimed as their own design.
