Expanding Origami Folder Instructions

Expanding Origami Folder Instructions via @paper_kawaii

Learn how to make a useful origami expanding accordion folder. You can make one to keep cards, receipts, photos and more.

You could also make a larger version by starting with larger paper. There are many ways you could close the folder, use ribbon, a split pin, or leave it open.

You can also add more of the folders to make more sections, if you add too many you’ll need to change the way the cover is folded.

Level: ★★★☆☆

You will need:

Inner folders:
3 sheets of square paper

Cover:
1 sheet of square paper.

All papers were 20 x 20 cm / 7.9 x 7.9 inches

Final size: 10 x 5 x 5 cm / 3.94 x 2 x 2 inches

I love this! Though it’s a little hard, it’s generally easy to follow and the end product is amazing 🙂

Hi! How should I modify it if I want the shape to be a square at the end and not a rectangle?

Thanks for the quick reply. However, I like this one because the folders can be taken out or added in while the one you linked is all glued in.
