Learn how to make this simple modular mini origami book with video and photo tutorial, Simple step by step instructions. Great gift & cute!
After 2 years I have finally made a video to go with the photo tutorial I made here.
I have simplified the process quite a bit, with less cutting. As it has many parts it is classed as modular origami.
You will need:
1 sheet of 6 x 6 inch (or any square) paper for the cover
8 sheets the same size for the pages.
7 halves make a 10 leafed book. you can increase the page count by simply using more paper, it will need to be an odd number, i.e, 9 for a 12 leafed book etc.
The finished book made with 6 x 6 inch paper will measure about 1.5 x 1.5 inches. Its pretty cute, and can be made even smaller.
You can use any size paper, rectangular paper, A4 or letter paper will produce tall books like the ones in the image above. It is the same method.
